Its programs are supported by various country-based and international donors. It has presence in different Governorates in Yemen responding to 6 areas of humanitarian sectors. ADRA Yemen is undertaking programs in Yemen in the fields of health, nutrition, WASH, food security, livelihoods, and protection.

SUMMARY:
The MEAL Clerk is responsible for supporting field data collection, data entry, data management, monitoring data quality assurance to ensure timely and accurate project monitoring, beneficiaries verification process and needs assessment functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, observations at distribution sites or at health facilities level and schools, community centers, and post-distribution monitoring exercises, price monitoring, beneficiaries’ verification and spot-check.
- Enter, clean, verify, and update monitoring and assessment data in excel databases, and ADRA digital data management systems.
- Support in data collection for success stories.
- Perform routine data quality checks and report inconsistencies, missing information, or errors to the MEAL team for corrective action.
- Collect complaints and feedback from beneficiaries and non-beneficiaries at distribution sites and during conducting surveys and monitoring activities.
- Support community outreach activities to raise awareness of beneficiary feedback and complaints mechanisms.
- Prepare activity and monthly reports and share them on timely manner.
- Adhere to the organization’s safeguarding framework, including Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA), child protection, anti-harassment, and ethical conduct policies, ensuring alignment with international standards (e.g., Core Humanitarian Standard, UN CRC).
- Promptly report safeguarding concerns or violations through designated channels, maintain confidentiality, and participate in mandatory safeguarding training to uphold a safe, inclusive environment for all stakeholders.
- Perform any other MEAL-related duties assigned by the Technical Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in computer, information technology, statistics, development studies, social sciences or any related field.
- A minimum of one year working experience in field data collection, data entry, data management for monitoring and evaluation purposes, preferably with NGOs.
- Good understanding of quantitative and qualitative data collection methods.
- Ability to work effectively in remote and challenging environments and travel as required with the possibility to stay overnights when needed.
- Good Experience using Microsoft Excel, KoboToolbox, ODK to build data forms and data management processing.
- Good organizational skills, attention to detail and reporting in a timely manner.
- Team-work and management skills.
- Good English language skills (verbal and written) is an advantage.
