- Position Title: National Consultant for Fisheries Baseline Data Collection, Community Engagement and Initial FMP Implementation in Khor Umaira
- Duty Station: Khor Umaira, Lahj Governorate
- National or International Consultancy: National
- Duration: Six weeks, including four weeks of continuous field presence during the active fishing season (indicatively from October 2026)
- Number of Required Positions: 1

Academic Qualifications
- A relevant bachelor’s degree in fisheries science with additional qualifying experience may be accepted or any related field.
Minimum years of relevant work experience
- At least five years of relevant experience in data collection, and community work.
- Experience facilitating community consultations and communicating technical or management concepts in clear, locally appropriate language.
- Good understanding of Yemen’s coastal context; experience in Lahj, Aden or nearby coastal areas is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, data-management and concise report-writing skills.
